Why do I want to make games? I suppose it has to do with 2 main reasons.

     First, I’ve always enjoyed helping people. Although I don't really know why I enjoy it myself, I still like being able to help people in meaningful ways. And to that extent writing for games is the method in which I believe I can go about doing that. Now I’m not expecting to tell some profound message or change the world, and I definitely don’t expect following this dream to be easy. No, I just want to make stories that people can genuinely enjoy. I want my stories to get people emotionally invested in them (in a good way) similar to the stories of games such as Final Fantasy 7, the NiER series, or Undertale. Through that investment, I want those who experience my stories to get something out of it that can make their life better, even if it's just by giving them something they can be happy about in their lives.

     And Second; I made various different characters and stories growing up to fill the void some rather personal reasons left. It was a way to come up with something better for myself, as well as something I could use to help make friends. Over time my stories grew and grew as I began experimenting with all sorts of different story types. And what started off as something to impress potential friends grew into a genuine passion for making unique, interesting stories. Making games - or at the very least, writing for them - is just my way of actualizing that passion.
